For over a century, the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor has been the preferred destination for those who love life on the water. Nestled on the back bay, the Club is home to breathtaking coastal views, first-rate service, and exquisite dining options.

Freshly renovated in 2019, the Club is a relaxing and upscale venue for members to enjoy, or to host special events from. The Stone Harbor landmark boasts two new decks from which the water views seem to continue interminably. With two bay-front dining rooms, members and guests are spoiled for choice. Dining facilities are open year-round.

From regatta racing to social events to community service, the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor offers a full range of programs to satisfy. We not only love to sail and socialize, we also foster a passion for sailing with our popular youth sailing program.

OUR MISSION

As the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor, we strive to provide an attractive, comfortable, and safe facility where members, children, and guests can socialize, dine, and take part in activities intended to promote fellowship, recreation, civic-mindedness, and the enjoyment of waterborne sports.

HISTORY

In 1911, the Stone Harbor Yacht Club was built for Stone Harbor Realty Company by John Larsen. The club faltered during the Great Depression until 1929 when Clarence O. Letzkus and his associates began selling proprietary memberships. The club became the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor. The 1911 building is enjoyed to this day by members and their guests.

It is home to new friends, old friends, and multi-generations who enjoy time on the water or the benefit of the club's facilities.
